Lighthouse Autism Center in Indiana is hiring a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to deliver center-based ABA therapy to children with autism. You’ll work one-on-one with kids, collaborating with clinicians to implement personalized therapy plans in a play-based setting.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• High school diploma or equivalent required; college degree preferred but not required.
• Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license preferred.

Main Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one with kids (18 months to school age) to provide ABA therapy in a center-based approach.
• Collaborate with a team of clinicians and behavior analysts to implement custom therapy plans unique to the needs of each child.
• Use your creativity and enthusiasm in a play-based and naturalistic therapy setting.
• Help children progress in educational and social settings and prepare children to eventually transition to a more traditional school setting.
• Track and document progress for each child as you implement custom therapy programs.

Requirements

• Must be 18 years of age or older.

• Lifting/carrying more than 50 lbs; ability to sustain impact to body (e.g., being hit); running, crouching, squatting, kneeling for sustained periods; bending at the waist; full range of motion of hands and arms; sitting on floor and chair for long periods; ability to move quickly from standing to seated or kneeling without support.
• Communicate expressively and receptively both verbally and written.
• Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license preferred.
• Safety is a priority; candidates will undergo background check and drug test at time of hire.

Salary

$18.00–$21.00 per hour.
