Rock Creek is seeking a Direct Support Professional - Personal Supports Counselor in Silver Spring, MD. You will be at the heart of our mission, assisting with daily living, providing emotional support, and helping clients pursue goals toward independence and fulfilled lives.

• Must have proof of car insurance.
• High School Diploma (or equivalent) and a minimum of two years’ experience working with adults diagnosed with varying intellectual disabilities and/or developmental disabilities.
• Must be able to work individually as well as within a team. Must be able to multitask.
• Must be able to work with high-risk consumers who have mental illnesses as well as developmental or intellectual disabilities.
• Strong desire to provide excellent customer service.
• Must be able to effectively and professionally communicate with other staff and individuals served.

• Focus: Transportation from Silver Spring, social integration, and building independent living habits, accompanying to local gym.
• Schedule: Lanham (Support for 21y.o. Twin Males): Mon–Fri (3pm–8pm).
