Job summary

QSAC is seeking Direct Support Professionals (DSP) in New York to assist people we support under established treatment plans in our residential program. DSPs promote independence by developing daily living and social skills and help with community integration through recreational outings; you will follow the NADSP Code of Ethics.

The role emphasizes safety, confidentiality, relationship-building, and adherence to treatment plans.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Experience working with people with intellectual/developmental disabilities preferred.
• Valid driver’s license and good driving record required.

Job Summary

The Direct Support Professional (DSP), is responsible for assisting the people we support, while following established treatment plans. QSAC’s Residential program emphasizes the importance of promoting independence through the development of daily living/social skills and integration into the community through recreational outings. You will abide by the Direct Support Professional Code of Ethics at all times.

The salary range for this position is $18.00 per hour.

Shift Information: Flexible Schedule - Mornings, Afternoons, Evenings, Overnights - Weekdays and/or Weekends. May be required to assist with overnight outings.

Direct Support Professionals (DSP) - Provide Safety & Support
