Job summary

REM Community Services, a part of Sevita, is seeking caregivers in Burnsville, MN. Pay is $21 per hour with a part-time schedule: Thursday, Friday and every other Saturday/Sunday from 2:00 pm to 9:00 pm (21 hours). A valid driver’s license and clean MVR are required.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required or preferred.
  • Six months of experience in human services, direct care, or care coordination preferred.
  • Valid driver’s license with at least one year of driving experience and vehicle with insurance.
  • Strong communication and reliability in a caregiving role.

Responsibilities

  • Assist participants with personal hygiene and daily living activities.
  • Support individuals with developmental goals and community participation.
  • Provide compassionate, patient care and build meaningful relationships.
  • Follow Sevita policies and ensure safety and dignity of participants.

Schedule Thursday, Friday Every Other Saturday/Sunday 2:00 pm-9:00 pm (21 Hours)
This position requires someone who has a Driver's License for at least one year (post-permit) and a clean Motor Vehicle Registration record that meets Sevita's insurability policy.

WHAT YOU’LL BRING TO SEVITA
  • Education: High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Experience: Six months of experience in human services, direct care, or care coordination preferred
