Job summary

The Chimes is seeking a Direct Support Professional (Parsons) in Baltimore, MD, to provide compassionate, person-centered care to individuals with disabilities. This role involves daily living support, medication administration, and documentation in a collaborative, team-based setting.

The DSP position offers paid training, development opportunities, and a comprehensive benefits package. Travel to residential and day programs may be required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Experience in disability services preferred (not required-we train!).
• Ability to lift, push, or pull 50 lbs.
• Valid U.S. driver's license with acceptable driving record.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on support with kindness and respect.
• Assist with personal care including dressing, toileting, hygiene, feeding, bathing and other daily living skills.
• Follow individualized care plans and document progress.
• Administer medications in accordance with policy.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and supportive environment.
• Use approved behavior support techniques.
• Encourage community engagement and participation.
• Some DSP roles will require travel and support from Residential to Day programs.
