Community Options, Inc. is seeking Direct Support Professionals in Williamsport, PA to provide person-centered care to individuals with disabilities. We offer Full-Time, Part-Time, and PRN positions with PAID training.

Starting pay is $16.75 per hour. Responsibilities include direct care, daily routines, medication administration, transportation to appointments, documentation, and community activities. Requirements include a high school diploma or GED, valid driver’s license, basic computer and

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Valid driver’s license with a satisfactory driving record.
• Basic computer and writing skills are required.
• Ability to establish a supportive relationship with individuals receiving supports and to exercise good judgment in crisis situations.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct care to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
• Assist with daily routines including cleaning, cooking, feeding, medication administration, and maintaining personal hygiene.
• Monitor the health and medical needs of individuals and report concerns.
• Assist with learning and development of independent and community-based skills.
• Participate with individuals in community, social, and recreational activities.
• Drive individuals to medical appointments and community activities.
• Ensure program documentation and billable records are completed accurately and timely.
• Build a support network with community members, businesses, and families.
• Cooperate with license and department staff during inspections.
