Job summary

ViaQuest Residential Services is seeking Direct Support Professionals to support individuals with developmental disabilities in their homes. Training is provided, no prior experience required, and a comprehensive benefits package is offered for full-time staff.

Walk-ins are welcome in Tipp City, OH area with Monday interview hours. A driver’s license, car insurance, and reliable vehicle are required, along with a high school diploma or GED. Compensation is $17.50–$18.50 per hour.

Qualifications

• At least 18 years of age.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Personal, reliable vehicle to transport individuals served.
• Valid driver's license and car insurance.
• Motor Vehicle Record must meet ViaQuest's criteria.
• Can push, lift or carry up to 50 lbs and can climb, balance, kneel and crouch.

Responsibilities

• Providing direct care and support to individuals with developmental disabilities to foster independence, choice and empowerment while ensuring health and safety.
• Supervising, teaching and assisting individuals in all aspects of daily life.
• Completing household tasks including meal preparation and maintaining a clean, safe living environment.
• Providing personal care assistance.
