Job summary

DON Services Links Program is currently seeking caring and compassionate Personal Care Attendants to work with individuals with intellectual disabilities in New Castle, PA. This role involves working one on one with individuals in the community, with day, evening, and midnight shifts available.

Reliable transportation is mandatory. Experience with intellectual/developmental disabilities and aggressive behavior is preferred; training is provided on hire.

Qualifications

• Caregiving experience preferred (1 year or more).
• Previous work with individuals with intellectual/developmental disabilities and aggressive behavior/autism preferred.
• Training provided on hire.

Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one with individuals with intellectual/developmental disabilities in the community.
• Assist with daily living activities and support independent living.
• Coordinate transportation and accompany individuals as needed.

Personal Care Attendants will work one on one with individuals with intellectual/developmental disabilities assisting them within their communities. Reliable transportation is mandatory. Previous experience working with individuals with intellectual/developmental disabilities and aggressive behavior/autism is preferred. Training upon hire.

Day, Evening, and Midnight shifts will be available.

Work locations in multiple county's.

Pay: $16.50 per hour

Experience:

Caregiving: 1 year (Preferred) willing to train individuals with no experience.

License/Certification:

• Driver's License (Required)

• Automobile Insurance

• Valid Automobile Inspection sticker

• Automobile registration

Shift availability:

• Day Shift (Preferred)

• Night Shift (Preferred)

• Overnight Shift (Preferred)
