Qualifications

• 18 years of age or older.
• Valid driver's license with access to a reliable vehicle.
• Ability to administer medication as permitted.

Responsibilities

• Develop relationships to promote emotional, physical and personal well-being.
• Assist with life skills: interaction, cooking, housekeeping, money management, personal hygiene.
• Support preferences and interests of individuals.
• Promote community integration and independence through activities in home or community settings.
• Help individuals reach goals toward greater independence with guidance and instruction.
• Complete documentation in electronic health records accurately and timely.
• Collaborate with families, agencies and other providers; participate in meetings.
• Coordinate medical care when needed and follow health guidelines including dietary recommendations.
• Conduct fire drills, manage emergencies, and provide coverage as required.
