Job summary

Right at Home UK is seeking compassionate Home Care Aides/Direct Support Professionals to provide personalized in-home care. You will assist with daily living activities, meals, mobility, companionship, and light housekeeping while ensuring safety and dignity for clients.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
• Prepare nutritious meals based on clients' dietary preferences and restrictions.
• Help clients with mobility challenges by assisting with walking, transfers, and prescribed exercises.
• Engage in friendly conversation, companionship, and recreational activities to support emotional well-being.
• Perform light housekeeping such as laundry, vacuuming, and keeping living spaces clean and organized.
• Accompany clients to medical appointments, grocery shopping, and other errands.
• Observe and report changes in clients' health to healthcare professionals or family members.
• Maintain accurate records of care provided and observations.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals, family members, and the team to coordinate care.
