Job summary

People Inc. (NY) is seeking Direct Support Professionals to assist individuals in daily living, promote independence, and participate in community activities in Lancaster, NY. Full-time and part-time shifts are available, with a starting pay of $19.00 per hour and a possible raise to $20.00 after a 6-month probationary period. Paid training and benefits are offered.

The role emphasizes compassionate care, reliability, and teamwork to support residents’ choices and dignity in everyday life.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Must have a valid driver’s license.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Ability to meet physical requirements (standing, walking, sitting, bending, stooping, squatting, kneeling and climbing).
• Lifting requirement of 35 lbs.

Location: Lancaster, NY and Surrounding Areas

Full-time and part-time shifts available (Day, Evening, and Overnight)

Pay Rate: $19.00

Upon successful completion of a 6-month provisionary period, the hourly rate will increase to $20/hr.
