RISE provides services for people with disabilities including residential settings, day programs, employment assistance, managed care, and hourly supports.

We are seeking Direct Support Professionals who are passionate about working with individuals with disabilities. This role includes assisting people with daily living, hygiene, meal preparation, mobility and behavioral supports. Positions are available in residential homes, day programs and in the community or in the client’s own home. Hourly rates range from $14.35 to $14.50.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with daily living activities such as hygiene, meal preparation and mobility.
• Provide behavioral supports as required.
• Support clients in community and home settings.

Qualifications

• Desire and interest in working with people with disabilities or special needs and respect for cultural differences.
• Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age.
• Verbal and written communication skills adequate to the specific job.
• Pass a background check with Arizona Central Registry, Arizona Adult Protective Services and obtain Level One Fingerprint Clearance.
• Specific language abilities (other than English) may be required.
• Reliable transportation to the work site and for transporting people, if applicable.
• Access to a telephone.
• Meet minimum training requirements and complete renewals as assigned.
• 21+ if required to drive an approved RISE vehicle; must pass drug test, maintain a valid driver’s license and submit an acceptable driving record.
• If a personal vehicle is used for transporting people, provide current auto insurance that meets the minimum requirements of RISE insurance policies.
