Bristol Adult Resource Center, Inc. is seeking compassionate Direct Support Professionals to assist adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities during the RISE Day Program.

This full-time role offers opportunities to support personal growth, participate in daily activities, and help clients achieve their goals with dignity and respect. Responsibilities include transportation, medication administration, and maintaining accurate records while ensuring a safe, inclusive environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least age 18.
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record and reliable transportation.
• Must obtain PPE (Public Passenger Endorsement).
• Obtain and Maintain Medication Certification required.

Responsibilities

• Provide opportunities for learning new skills and independence by working on individuals’ goals and plans.
• Transport individual to and from programs and activities.
• Administer medications and treatments meeting all guidelines and accurate documentation.
• Provide safe and nurturing environment where individuals are treated with dignity, respect, can exercise their rights and responsibilities and are protected from abuse or neglect.
• Electronically record daily activities maintaining confidentiality and complying with all policies and procedures to protect the identity, medical, HIPPA information.
• Obtain and maintain all required certifications and trainings (in person and online).
• Perform other duties as assigned.
