HELP Foundation Inc. is seeking Direct Support Professionals to assist adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities across multiple Ohio locations.

DSPs provide daily living support, monitor health, and help with activities of daily living, including medication administration and health monitoring. Responsibilities

• Provide active treatment, emotional and health-related services including administering medications, assisting in breathing treatments, checking vitals to monitor overall health and assisting with medical equipment.
• Assist with providing basic personal care and grooming, including bathing, basic hair care and getting dressed.
• Responsible for administrative tasks associated with providing support.
• Accurately administering medication and following and maintaining MARS
• Immediately report any incidents or accidents involving individuals to the Site Leader
• Document all services provided to individuals clearly and cohesively

Position Summary:

Under general supervision of the Site Leader, performs duties related to the overall care of consumers in assigned residential facilities. Must be able to successfully complete all of the functions and competencies associated with this position as well as other duties as they may be assigned.

Essential Job Functions

• Come to work on time, in the proper attire prepared to work
• Make sure all required training and certifications, licenses and insurance requirements are up to date
• Adjust work hours as required for effective operation of the program
• Providing individuals with assistance in everyday life skills
