Job summary

Achieva is seeking a Direct Support Professional to support people with disabilities in achieving independence and meaningful community engagement. The DSP helps with daily living activities, personal care, budgeting, and attendance at appointments and events.

The role emphasizes dignity, choice, and person-centered supports. This is a full-time, hourly position located in Glenshaw, PA with a $2,000 sign-on bonus and opportunities for wage progression based on NADSP-aligned certifications.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1 year of related experience preferred.
• Valid PA Driver's License required.
• Clearances: Act 33, Act 34, FBI Background Check.

Responsibilities

• Supports individuals in daily living activities and community engagement.
• Assists with personal care tasks and medication administration as needed.
• Promotes independence through budgeting, home management and daily living skills.
• Accompanies individuals to appointments, recreational activities, and community events.
• Documents progress and concerns in accordance with program standards.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
