Job summary

Keystone Human Services is seeking Direct Support Professionals to provide individualized, person-directed support for adults with intellectual disabilities, mental health needs, and autism in Middlebury, CT. The role focuses on creating a healthy, engaging home setting and teaching daily living skills.

You will advocate for the health and wellness of the people we support, participate in their community inclusion, and help them fully participate in society.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent is required.
• Strong communication skills and basic computer literacy are essential.
• Valid driver’s license with daily access to a privately maintained and insured vehicle.
• Successful completion of the pre-employment process, including clearances and verifications.

Responsibilities

• Provide individualized, person-directed support in intellectual disabilities, mental health, and autism.
• Assist with daily living skills and personal care to promote independence and health.
• Advocate for health and wellness of the individuals served and support community inclusion.
