Thrive Homes Inc. provides comprehensive services for adults with developmental disabilities, including supported living, community integration, personal assistance, and respite care.

We seek a compassionate Direct Support Professional to join our team to help individuals follow their plans, stay safe, live in clean environments, and participate in community activities. Qualifications include 18+ years old, HS diploma/GED, a valid driver’s license, and excellent written and verbal communication.

Qualifications

18+ years old (required).
High School Diploma or GED required.
Valid driver’s license in state of operation.
Experience with developmentally disabled or caregiving preferred but not required.
Empathetic and team-focused approach to care.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Energetic, creative, and able to maintain a sense of humor.
Able to lift 50+ pounds and perform Safe & Positive Approaches.
Comfortable with hands-on hygiene care (diapering/showering).
Willing to undergo drug testing and background check.

Responsibilities

Actively assist individuals with their individualized plans for daily living.
Ensure individuals are safe, healthy, and living in a clean environment.
Assist with planning, implementing, and documenting programs for social, emotional, physical, and personal needs.
Plan and participate in community outings.
Shop for home necessities (food, clothing, household items).
Schedule and transport individuals to doctor’s appointments, shopping trips, and day programs/schools.

DIRECT SUPPORT PROFESSIONAL

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Direct Support Professional to join our team.

Responsibilities

Actively assist our individuals with their individualized plans for daily living.
Ensure our individuals are safe, healthy, and living in a clean environment.
Assist with the planning, implementation, and documentation of programs designed to meet social, emotional, physical, and personal needs.
Plan and participate in community outings.
Shop for the home’s necessities such as food, clothing, and household items.
Schedule and transport our individuals to doctor’s appointments, shopping trips, and day programs/schools.

Qualifications

18 years of age or older (required)
Minimum of High School Diploma/GED
Have a Current, Non-Provisional Driver’s License valid in the state of operation.
Experience with the developmentally disabled or as a caretaker is preferred but not required.
Empathetic and have a team approach to care for the individuals.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Energetic, creative, and have a sense of humor.
Able to lift up to 50+ pounds and perform Safe & Positive Approaches
