Job summary

Beacon Specialized Living is seeking Direct Support Professionals to assist adults with developmental disabilities and mental health challenges in daily life, helping them stay independent and safe in their communities. As a DSP, you’ll support daily living skills, transport to activities, prepare meals, document care, and promote dignity and person-centered support.

Flexible full-time and part-time opportunities with training provided.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• GED or High School Diploma.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Compassionate, dependable, and team-oriented.
• Strong communication skills and willingness to learn.

Responsibilities

• Assist with daily living skills and personal care.
• Support community engagement and recreational activities.
• Prepare meals and maintain a clean, organized home environment.
• Transport individuals to appointments and community activities.
• Administer medications as directed (training provided).
• Maintain accurate documentation and advocate for individuals served.
• Promote dignity, respect, and person-centered support.
