Job summary

BAYADA Home Health Care in Pennsylvania is looking for Direct Support Personnel (DSP) to join the team in Union County and surrounding areas. DSPs provide one-on-one care in home and community settings, serving as a companion and mentor to individuals with intellectual or developmental disabilities, helping them reach their full potential.

We offer part-time schedules with opportunities to grow into full-time roles, flexible shifts, and a pay rate of $17 per hour plus experience-based increases.

Qualifications

• One year experience working with intellectual and development disabilities.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 18 years of age or older.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care assistance (dressing, grooming, basic hygiene)
• Accompany clients on errands and appointments
• Spend time on the client’s favorite hobbies and activities
• Assist with everyday tasks, such as meal preparation
• Participate in community integration activities
