Job summary

Rise Family in Richfield, Utah is seeking Direct Support Professionals passionate about helping individuals with disabilities. You will assist with daily living, hygiene, meal prep, mobility, and behavioral supports in residential settings, day programs, or in clients' homes.

We offer flexible part-time schedules, a competitive hourly rate of $16.60, paid training, on-site hands-on experience in nonprofit social services, and meaningful opportunities to make a difference in clients' lives.

Qualifications

Verbal and written communication skills adequate to the job.
Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age.
Background clearance approved annually through the licensing office.
Specific language abilities (other than English) may be required.
Reliable transportation to the work site and for transporting people, if applicable.
Access to a telephone.
Meet minimum training requirements and renewals as assigned.
Must be 21+ if required to drive an approved RISE vehicle and maintain a valid driver’s license and insurance.

Responsibilities

Assist people with daily living, hygiene, meal prep, mobility and behavioral supports.
Support individuals in residential homes, day programs, and in community or home settings.
