Sevita is seeking a Life Skills Trainer/Caregiver to support individuals with living skills, daily activities, and community participation in residential and community settings. You will train, assist and supervise participants, promoting independence and safety while collaborating with clinical staff.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Six months to one year of experience in human services.
• Valid Driver's License from state of residence.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Background checks required.

• Reliable, responsible, compassionate attitude.
• Commitment to quality in everything you do.

Responsibilities

• Provide training, assistance and supervision in living skills, therapeutic recreation, and other forms of assistance in residential and community settings.
• Assist with daily activities such as meals, personal hygiene, shopping, cleaning, and medication administration.
• Facilitate relationships between employers and individuals served; support community involvement and transportation to work or activities.
• Collaborate with clinical staff to support therapeutic and behavioral plans.
