Job summary

RISE in Prescott Valley, AZ is hiring Direct Support Professionals to assist individuals with disabilities in community outings and in-home tasks. This part-time role offers flexible schedules and competitive hourly pay of $15.50, with opportunities for on-site training and growth.

Responsibilities include assisting individuals in the community, supporting daily living tasks, and providing behavioral support.

Qualifications

• Desire and interest in working with people with disabilities or special needs, with respect for cultural differences
• At least 18 years of age
• Verbal and written communication skills adequate to the specific job
• Ability to pass a background check with Arizona agencies and obtain fingerprint clearance
• Specific language abilities may be required
• Reliable transportation to the work site; transport people if required
• Access to a telephone
• Ability to meet training requirements and renewals as assigned
• 21+ if required to drive an approved RISE vehicle; must pass drug test and have driving record
• Provide auto insurance if using personal vehicle for transporting people

Responsibilities

• Assist individuals living on their own by taking them out into the community
• Provide assistance with daily in-home tasks
• Deliver behavioral support and related care services
