Job summary

Addus HomeCare is seeking Direct Support Professionals in Tennessee to help seniors and people with disabilities live independently at home. Earn up to $15.68 per hour with flexible hours and a path to learn the fundamentals of quality home care in a growing, values-driven organization.

Responsibilities include following care plans, assisting with personal care, light housekeeping, transportation, and reporting changes in condition. Virtual interviews are available for safety and convenience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Comfortable using an electronic device.
• Reliable, energetic and well-organized.
• Good communication skills.
• Ability to work with limited supervision and follow written/verbal instructions.
• Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license with proof of insurance.

Responsibilities

• Follow a care plan and report completed tasks.
• Assist with personal care (bathing, dressing, etc.).
• Support routine household tasks and meal preparation.
• Transport member to appointments and daily errands.
• Assist with self-administration of medications (no dosing).
• Observe and report changes in member’s condition.
