Job summary

Braverhood is seeking a Direct Support Professional to provide one-on-one support in clients’ homes and communities. This part-time role offers flexibility on weekdays and/or weekends and pays $18–$20 per hour.

Responsibilities include helping individuals reach personal goals, encouraging socialization and independence, and documenting progress while following agency guidelines and OPWDD requirements.

Qualifications

• Experience with individuals with special needs preferred.
• Experience with children or young adults preferred.
• Valid driver's license and personal vehicle required.
• Reliable transportation.
• Dependable, accountable, and punctual.
• U.S. Citizen or valid work authorization.
• Complete required paid DSP training after hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one support in the home and community.
• Help individuals achieve personal goals.
• Encourage communication, socialization, and independence.
• Assist with activities of daily living.
• Document services and progress.
• Follow agency and OPWDD requirements.
