Job summary

Hands of Heartland in Kearney, NE is seeking compassionate Direct Support Professionals (DSP) to support individuals with developmental disabilities in day centers, homes and community settings. You will assist with daily living activities, skill-building, and meaningful activities to promote independence.

This full-time position starts at $16 per hour, with higher pay for direct experience and for holding an active Nebraska CNA license.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must have a valid driver’s license.
• Must be able to pass all background checks.
• Experience not required – we will train you!

Responsibilities

• Work directly with individuals to support day-to-day living and skills development in day center, home, and community settings.
• Assist with activities, habilitation and daily living to promote independence.
