Lutheran Social Services of Illinois is hiring a Direct Support Person, full-time, Mon–Fri in Park Ridge, IL. You will assist individuals with self-care, meals, hygiene, housekeeping, social activities and recreation, and you will document progress as required.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma or equivalent, is 18+, can pass a background check, CPR/First Aid basics, and a valid IL driverense license. Benefits include competitive pay, flexible hours, and a comprehensive package.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Background check clearance required.
• CPR and First Aid basics required.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Valid driverss license in good standing in IL.

Responsibilities

• Monitor, implement, and document individual personal goals and behavior programs.
• Participate in development of individual Service Plan via daily logs and staffings.
• Provide transportation as part of community integration.
• Maintain regular and consistent work attendance.
• Treat clients, families, and colleagues with dignity, respect, and integrity.
