Job summary

Abound Health is hiring Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) to provide caregiving and daily living support for individuals with IDD in the New Tripoli, PA area. We are seeking compassionate DSPs to support a young woman with complex medical and behavioral needs.

We are open to one full-time DSP or two part-time DSPs to cover Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM. We offer weekly pay, paid onboarding and training, and opportunities for growth within a mission-driven company.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Valid driver’s license, current auto insurance, and reliable transportation.
• Ability to pass criminal background, driving record, and healthcare registry checks.
• Willingness to address personal care needs when necessary.
• Experience with behavioral and complex medical needs strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Build positive relationships and support individuals in achieving personal goals.
• Assist with daily living activities such as meal preparation, hygiene, and household tasks.
• Support individuals in community participation, employment, and social activities.
• Use adaptive tools to aid learning and facilitate communication.
• Encourage independence and help individuals develop new skills.
• Monitor health and safety while maintaining a supportive environment.
• Communicate with Abound Health team members, families, and external parties as needed.
• Complete documentation and maintain schedules.
• Complete ongoing training and professional development.
