Job summary

ASG Home Care is hiring Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) in New Jersey to support individuals with developmental disabilities in homes and communities. DSPs work one‑on‑one, following each person’s ISP to promote independence and daily living skills.

We offer flexible hours, local cases, and a supportive team. This role involves in-home and community-based services with room to grow within a DDD-focused agency.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation preferred.
• CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain upon hire).
• Compassionate, dependable, and motivated to make a difference.

Responsibilities

• Provide individualized home and community-based support to individuals with developmental disabilities.
• Assist with daily living activities including personal care, meal preparation, and transportation.
• Encourage independence and community participation aligned with each client's ISP.
• Document services accurately and communicate with the care team.
• Build meaningful, consistent relationships with the individuals you support.
