Job summary

Merakey is hiring Direct Support Professionals to provide direct care to individuals with developmental and behavioral health needs in Pine Grove and surrounding areas. The role offers paid training and opportunities to grow within a mission-driven nonprofit.

Responsibilities include ADL support, personal care, mobility assistance, community transportation, and documenting progress. The job emphasizes health and safety, while enabling individuals to develop daily living skills and independence.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years old.
• High School diploma/G.E.D. preferred.
• Related experience is helpful.
• Valid driver's license is required.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct care and support with activities of daily living (ADLs).
• Assist with personal care, hygiene, mobility, and meal preparation.
• Support life skills development, including household tasks and social skills.
• Provide community support, transportation.
• Promote health, safety, and well-being, including medication support (as trained).
• Complete required documentation, progress notes, and service logs.
