Merakey is seeking an Individual Support Specialist to join its IDD division in the Coraopolis, PA area. The role focuses on direct care, daily living assistance, and community participation, with paid training provided. Shifts include 2nd shift and weekends, offering a rewarding path in human services.

Base pay starts at $16.25/hour with potential to earn up to $21.25/hour through the Enhanced Pay option and house differential. No prior experience required; training is provided to new hires.

Qualifications

• Experience in direct care roles or willingness to learn on the job.
• Ability to assist with activities of daily living and personal care.
• Comfort with documentation and progress notes.
• Strong reliability, communication, and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct care and support with ADLs.
• Assist with personal care, hygiene, mobility, and meals.
• Support life skills development and household tasks.
• Provide community support and transportation as needed.
• Promote health, safety, and well-being; administer medication as trained.
• Complete required documentation and service logs.
