Job summary

ASG Home Care in New Jersey is actively hiring Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) to assist individuals with developmental disabilities in home and community settings. You will work one‑on‑one, following each person’s ISP to promote independence and daily living skills.

Responsibilities include supporting daily activities, transportation, documenting services, and building meaningful relationships with clients. A driver’s license and CPR/First Aid certification are preferred but not required.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Driver's license and reliable transportation preferred.
• CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain upon hire).
• Compassionate, dependable, and motivated to make a difference.

Responsibilities

• Provide individualized home and community-based support to individuals with developmental disabilities.
• Assist with daily living activities including personal care, meal preparation, and transportation.
• Encourage independence and community participation aligned with each client's ISP.
• Document services accurately and communicate with the care team.
• Build meaningful, consistent relationships with the individuals you support.
