Job summary

ASG Home Care is seeking Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) to assist individuals with developmental disabilities in homes and communities across New Jersey. You will provide hands-on support, promote independence, and follow each person’s ISP.

Responsibilities include personal care, meal preparation, transportation, documentation, and building meaningful relationships. Flexible shifts are available with cases near you and a supportive team.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation preferred.
• Prior caregiving or human services experience preferred but not required.
• CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).
• Compassionate, dependable, and motivated to make a difference.

Responsibilities

• Provide individualized home and community-based support per ISP.
• Assist with daily living activities including personal care and transportation.
• Encourage independence and community participation aligned with ISP.
• Document services accurately and communicate with the care team.
• Build meaningful, consistent relationships with the individuals supported.
