Job summary

ASG Home Care is actively hiring Direct Support Professionals to support individuals with developmental disabilities in their homes and communities throughout New Jersey.

As a DSP, you will provide hands-on support that promotes independence, community engagement, and daily living success, working one-on-one with individuals in home and community settings. Duties include personal care, documenting services, and collaborating with the care team.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation preferred.
• CPR/First Aid certification or willingness to obtain upon hire.
• Compassionate, dependable, and motivated to make a difference.

Responsibilities

• Provide individualized home and community-based support to individuals with developmental disabilities.
• Assist with daily living activities including personal care, meal preparation, and transportation.
• Encourage independence and community participation aligned with each client's ISP.
• Document services accurately and communicate with the care team.
• Build meaningful, consistent relationships with the individuals you support.
