Job summary

Aurora Staffing is seeking direct support professionals for Legacy Treatment Services in New Jersey. The role focuses on helping adolescents in group-home settings, with duties in daily living support, activity facilitation, and skill-building to promote independence.

This position includes a $2.00 per hour night/weekend differential for shifts from Friday 11pm through Sunday 11pm, and requires adherence to licensing and safety policies, with opportunities for career growth within the Woods

Qualifications

• Must pass mandated trainings including Crisis Management, CPR and First Aid.
• Cleared for employment under the Criminal History Background Checks (CHRI).
• NJ DHS Central Registry of Offenders for Developmental Disabilities (N.J.A.C. 10:44D) clearance required.
• Must pass a pre-employment drug screen and participate in random screens.
• Must be able to operate a vehicle in accordance with applicable laws and policies.

Responsibilities

• Assist with daily living activities including meal planning and preparation, housekeeping, laundry, and safety.
• Contribute to ISP development and Planning Team meetings.
• Maintain accurate documentation and logs.
• Promote ethical and professional conduct and mission values.
• Transport clients as needed in company vehicles.
