Job summary

Omega Home Care in White Marsh, Maryland is seeking a Direct Support Professional (DSP)/Caregiver to empower individuals with mental and developmental disabilities to live with dignity and independence. This full-time role offers a steady schedule and hands-on support in home and community settings.

You will assist with daily living, light housework, transportation, and adherence to individualized plans, while building meaningful relationships and promoting safety and personal growth.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Clean background check.
• Reliable vehicle with valid car insurance and valid drivers license (preferred but not required).
• CPR & First Aid Certification.
• CMT Certification.
• CNA Certification (Recommended but not required).

Responsibilities

• Supporting individuals with daily living and self-care skills.
• Assisting with household tasks such as light cleaning, cooking, and laundry.
• Helping individuals follow personalized behavior and support plans.
• Accompanying individuals to appointments and community activities.
• Encouraging independence, confidence, and personal growth.
• Providing companionship, safety, and emotional support.
