Easterseals Redwood is seeking a Direct Support Professional to provide daily living support for adults with disabilities in Cincinnati, OH. This role involves physical assistance, personal care, and the promotion of independence in community and hub settings.

You will participate in tasks such as wheelchair transfers, personal hygiene, meal assistance, and documentation, while working within a values-driven team that emphasizes inclusion and compassion.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience working with adults with disabilities preferred but willing to train the right candidate.

Responsibilities

• Promote physical, social/emotional development and independence during daily care services.
• Provide physical assistance, including wheelchair transfers and positioning.
• Support adults at work sites and ensure assignments are completed on time.
• Maintain documentation of care, attendance, incidents, and required reports.
• Observe health status and respond to illnesses or emergencies with First Aid/CPR as appropriate.
• Assist with personal care, meals, snacks, and daily living activities.
• Ensure safety and balance and provide positive interaction with adults.
