Job summary

Amergis Healthcare Staffing is seeking a Direct Support Professional (DSP) to support individuals with intellectual disabilities or mental health challenges in home, community or facility settings in Manchester, NH. This is a contract - full time role paying $27 per hour with 40 hours per week.

You will help with daily living activities, social skills development, and follow each resident's Individual Service Plan, under supervision of care teams, with weekly payroll and comprehensive benefits

Qualifications

• High School diploma or its equivalent.
• Current CPR if applicable.
• TB questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable.
• Current Health Certificate (per contract or state regulation).
• Must meet all federal, state and local requirements.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Demonstrates ability to prioritize tasks.

Responsibilities

• Assist individuals with intellectual disabilities or mental health challenges with growth and development of interpersonal skills and activities of daily living in home, community or residential setting.
• Provide supports for activities of daily living and adaptive skills.
• Follow the resident/patient's Individual Service Plan.
