Job summary

Circle Haven, Inc. in South Jersey seeks a part-time Direct Support Professional for 10-13 hours per week (evenings and weekends) to support adults with disabilities. You will provide direct care, assist with personal needs, document services, and help individuals participate in community activities.

Responsibilities include lifting/transfers, independence-building, and transporting clients to outings or appointments. Reliable transportation and a clean driving record are required.

We are looking for a DSP for a clients in the South Jersey area - 10-13 hours/week; evenings and weekends

Circle Haven, Inc. is a non-profit organization dedicated to providing innovative opportunities and support services to adults with disabilities in South Jersey. Circle Haven is a new, but growing organization that will have opportunities for community-based supports, individual supports, professional growth, and future opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:

• 1. Provides direct care to those with intellectual and developmental disabilities
• 2. Performs personal care tasks, including assistance with basic personal hygiene and grooming, feeding and ambulation, medical monitoring and health care related tasks
• 3. Documents services provided. Keeps track of casework notes, daily activities, behavioral assessments
• 4. Maximizes independence in various life skills including nutrition, cooking, finance, community participation and social skills
• 5. Transport individuals, as appropriate, into community for outings or appointments
• 6. All other duties as assigned
