Job summary

Progressive Directions, Inc. (PDI) is seeking compassionate Part-Time/As Needed Direct Support Professionals to support individuals in Stewart County, Tennessee.

In this role you will provide person-centered care, assist with daily living activities, transportation, and community involvement, while documenting care and following health and safety procedures. Training is provided; PTO, holidays, and paid training are part of benefits.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Unrestricted, valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Ability to pass background checks and drug screening.
• Dependable attendance and ability to work an assigned schedule.
• Patient, respectful, and supportive approach.
• Experience in caregiving is helpful but not required.

Responsibilities

• Provide respectful, person-centered support based on each person’s needs and goals.
• Assist with daily living activities and personal care as needed.
• Support community involvement, appointments, shopping, and other activities.
• Encourage independence and informed choices.
• Assist with meal preparation, household routines, and maintaining a safe home environment.
• Provide transportation as assigned.
• Complete required documentation accurately and on time.
• Follow all policies, training requirements, and health and safety procedures.
• Protect the rights, privacy, dignity, and confidentiality of the people supported.

What You’ll Do

Requirements

What We’re Looking For?

• At least 18 years of age
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Must have an unrestricted, valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record
• Reliable transportation

Previous caregiving or direct support experience is helpful but not required. PDI provides training.
