Job summary

Waves, Inc. in Spring Hill, TN is seeking a Direct Support Professional (DSP) for the Residential Program on a part-time basis with a 2nd shift, Monday to Friday, 2 PM to 7 PM.

This role supports adults with developmental and intellectual disabilities to enhance daily living skills and community engagement. The ideal candidate has an entry-level background, a high school diploma, basic computer skills, and a willingness to complete a background check and drive to local communities.

Qualifications

• High school diploma and experience in a related field.
• Must be able to complete a Criminal Background report.
• Ability to lift up to 40 pounds at a time.
• Have a Tennessee driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Intermediate computer skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Provide care and coaching to adults with developmental and intellectual disabilities through daily life activities.

Direct Support Professional - Residential Part-Time Weekdays 2nd Shift

Location: Spring Hill, TN

Type: Part-Time (25 hours per week)

Shift: Monday - Friday, 2 PM - 7 PM

The ideal Residential Life Skills Coach candidate must be creative, tech-savvy, open-minded, flexible, innovative, and have a passion for helping others. At Waves, we support and advocate for adults with developmental and intellectual disabilities. This is a fun, rewarding job where you will enrich the life of an adult with an intellectual or developmental disability by providing care and coaching them through daily life activities while supporting their opportunities to live the life they want to have. This position is under the supervision of the Residential Program Manager.

Base Rate of Pay: $16.00/hour + $1/hour weekend differential

Requirements of a Direct Support Professional:
