Job summary

Fitzmaurice Community Services, Inc. is seeking dedicated Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) to provide individualized support in a licensed community residential facility. You will assist adults with daily living skills, personal care, and community engagement while promoting independence, dignity, and quality of life.

This role offers paid training, no experience required, and benefits including 403b and AFLAC. Schedule: Tue-Sat 11:00pm-7:00am, 40 hrs/week.

Qualifications

• 18 years or older
• Ability to pass and maintain Medication Certification & CPR/First Aid Certifications
• Provide and Maintain a Valid U.S. Driver’s License and insurable under company policy

Responsibilities

• Provide intensive individual support and personal care services to clients.
• Promote independence and autonomy by teaching daily living and behavior management skills.
• Engage clients in structured activities that encourage growth and participation.
• Complete all required documentation promptly, including time and attendance, daily logs, progress notes, and monthly reports.
• Participate in ongoing communication and planning for individualized program implementation.
• Administer medications and ensure compliance with health and safety standards.
• Use the least intrusive intervention methods to support clients effectively.
• Foster community integration by encouraging use public resources and recreational opportunities.
• Maintain strict confidentiality regarding client information.
