Job summary

ReMed, a Collage Rehabilitation Partner, is seeking Direct Support Professionals to work overnights in Greensburg and Irwin, PA. You will support adults with brain injuries in daily living tasks, therapies, and community activities.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, 18+ years of age, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs. We offer a comprehensive benefits package, tuition assistance, and referral bonuses.

Responsibilities

For more than 35 years, we’ve developed programs to meet the diverse needs of clients with moderate to severe traumatic and acquired brain injuries. We provide treatment for post-concussion syndrome, stroke, memory loss, neurobehavioral issues and accident or sports-related head injuries.

Staff Ratio: 3:6 for overnight

We are searching forDirect Support Professionals to work overnights (Saturday-Thursday)in our residential programs located in Greensburg and Irwin Pennsylvania.

• This position provides minimum to maximum assistance and/or supervision to promote our clients’ success in daily living tasks, recreational activities and vocational pursuits
• Responsibilities include assisting clients with personal care and hygiene, therapies, and driving and accompanying clients to appointments, activities and other outings
• Candidates must be comfortable working with a variety of medically complicated and behaviorally challenged clients

Requirements:

• A high school diploma or GED is required***
• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Must have a valid driver's license and responsible driving behaviors must be maintained
• Ability to lift 50lbs
