Job summary

Braverhood in Brooklyn, NY is hiring part-time Direct Support Professionals to provide care for individuals with disabilities in the home and in the community.

Qualifications

• Experience with the special needs community - preferably with children or young adults -by taking them out in the community and helping them to integrate into society by helping them with communication and social skills
• Reliable Transportation is required
• Once hired, an online DSP training course must be completed
• Must be able to show up to work on time
• Dress code: Casual - come as you are, but please dress appropriately and respectfully.

• Attend mandatory staff meeting and training once a year
• Submit all paperwork and monthly summaries on time

Braverhood is looking to hire part-time DSPs (Direct Support Professional) to provide support to individuals with disabilities in the Southern area of Brooklyn, both in the home and within the community.

Bilingual speakers of Spanish, Russian, and other languages welcome.

Hours: Primarily afternoons and/or weekends.
