Under limited supervision of the Direct Support Manager this position is responsible for the day‑to‑day supervision of the Direct Support Professional I and II's.
The positions for this posting are located at Coastal Regional Center, an Intermediate Care Facility for Individuals with Intellectual Disabilities (ICF-IID) of BHDD-OIDD located in Summerville, SC serving residents with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
This position is eligible for up to $3.50/hour shift differential for applicable shifts! Sign-on bonus for eligible candidates will be distributed after three, six, nine, and twelve months of successful continuous Full-Time employment.
Bachelor's Degree and one (1) year experience working with individuals with intellectual or developmental disabilities; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Knowledge of federal and state regulations governing ICF-IID, as well as directives relevant to an ICF. Ability to exercise sound judgment, comply with all required regulations and procedures; be a team leader and maintain effective working relationships. Computer skills, as well as excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work with individuals who may be physically aggressive or medically fragile. Ability to work in a fast-paced work environment, which includes standing, walking, stooping, bending and pulling.
