Job summary

Waystone Health and Human Services is seeking a Direct Support Professional in Haverhill, MA to assist four adults with ADLs in a group home setting. The role includes medication administration, transporting clients in wheelchair-accessible vans, and maintaining daily logs and ISP progress toward individual goals.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Assist individuals with daily living activities, including hygiene, feeding, dressing, and mobility.
• Provide transportation using wheelchair-accessible vans to appointments and activities.
• Complete ISP plans, logs, and notes; track behavioral data.
• Administer medications as required and maintain accurate documentation; provide companionship and redirect behaviors.

The hourly rate is $21.63. You will be a union member to SEIU Local 509.Group Home Details: As a residential skills instructor or Awake Overnight staff, you will be assisting 4 individuals ranging from ages 22 and up, with their activities of daily living (ADL’s) such as - feeding, cooking, cleaning, personal hygiene assistance, documentation, and medication administration. You will use a wheelchair van to transport individuals to appointments and community activities. During the overnight hours, you will also be responsible for remaining alert and attentive, conducting routine wellness checks on individuals, and providing personal care support, including toileting assistance and brief changes as needed.
