Job summary

Abound Health is hiring Direct Support Professionals to provide caregiving and daily living support in Residential Group Homes across PA. This full-time/part-time role offers $18-23 per hour and a $1,000 signing bonus, paid in installments for averaging 20+ hours per week.

You will assist with ADLs, community participation, and behavioral support while promoting residents’ independence and well-being. Training is provided.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Able to pass background, driving, and healthcare registry checks.
• Willingness to address personal care needs when necessary.
• Lifting may be required depending on client needs.
• Experience with individuals with disabilities is not required; training provided.

Responsibilities

• Build positive relationships and support individuals in achieving personal goals.
• Assist with daily living activities such as meal preparation, hygiene, and household tasks.
• Support individuals in community participation, employment, and social activities.
• Use adaptive tools to aid learning and facilitate communication.
• Encourage independence and help individuals develop new skills.
• Monitor health and safety while maintaining a supportive environment.
• Communicate with Abound team members, families, and external parties as needed.
• Complete documentation and maintain schedules.
• Complete ongoing training and professional development.
