Abound Health is hiring Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) to assist individuals with IDD, focusing on ADLs, community participation, and behavioral support. DSPs provide hands-on care at home, in the community, and in work settings, helping clients live more independently.

The role emphasizes compassion, reliability, and collaboration with families and case managers. Training is provided, and a signing bonus is available for eligible applicants. Chester, NJ-based position.

Qualifications

• Ability to pass criminal record, driving record, and healthcare registry checks.
• Willingness to address personal care needs when necessary.

Abound Health is hiring Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) to provide caregiving and daily living support for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD). As a DSP, you will assist with activities of daily living (ADLs), community participation, and behavioral support while helping clients live independently. What You’ll Do

As a DSP, you will provide hands‑on support that helps individuals build independence and confidence at home, in the community, and in the workplace. Being a DSP is a rewarding experience – you will genuinely make a difference and contribute to someone’s journey towards a more meaningful life. Responsibilities will include:

• Building positive relationships and supporting individuals in achieving personal goals
• Assisting with daily living activities such as meal preparation, hygiene, and household tasks
• Supporting individuals in community participation, employment, and social activities
• Using adaptive tools to aid learning and facilitate communication
• Encouraging independence and helping individuals develop new skills
• Monitoring health and safety while maintaining a supportive environment
• Communicating with Abound team members, families, and external parties (case managers, etc.) as needed
• Completing documentation and maintaining schedules
• Completing in ongoing training and professional development

Pay & Signing Bonus

Starting Pay: $23/hour for non-acuity; $33/hour for acuity

$1,000 signing bonus paid when averaging 20+ hours/week paid in 3 installments: 90 days ($333), 6 months ($333), and 12 months ($334)
