Job summary

Dungarvin is seeking a Direct Support Professional (DSP) / Caregiver in Kentucky for a full-time role. You will provide direct support to individuals with intellectual & developmental disabilities, helping them live as independently as possible with dignity and respect.

The position offers hands-on training, paid orientation, and a comprehensive benefits package for full-time employees, including PTO and growth opportunities. A valid driver's license and willingness to drive are required.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older
• Valid driver’s license required (due to transporting persons served)
• Candidates must be comfortable driving to transport persons served as required
• Background clearance required as part of onboarding/employment process

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on assistance, encouragement, mentoring, and guidance.
• Ensure the comfort, safety, and personal growth of the individuals we serve.
• Perform housekeeping and laundry duties.
• Assist with daily living tasks such as moving around, getting in and out of bed, dressing, bathing, toileting, personal hygiene and more.
