Brightway Living & Learning, a premier non-profit on Long Island, is hiring a Direct Support Professional (DSP) for our Adult Day Services. This full-time, on-site role offers hourly pay of $21.00–$23.10, with a starting lower rate for new hires not meeting criteria.

You will support individuals with disabilities in daily living activities, promote independence, and help them connect with their communities.

Qualifications

• Valid NYS Driver's License for 18+ months with clean driving history.
• Successful completion of Brightway’s Transportation Orientation.
• Willingness to work full-time Monday–Friday 8am–4pm.

The Role:

As a Direct Support Professional (DSP), you will play a vital role in supporting individuals with disabilities in their daily lives. You will work closely with them, assisting with daily living activities, fostering their independence, promoting their well-being, and helping them connect with their communities. This is a truly rewarding opportunity to build meaningful relationships and make a tangible difference. This position requires a valid NYS Driver's License for 18+ months with a clean driving history and successful completion of Brightway’s Transportation Orientation. New Hires that do not meet this criteria will be offered a lower rate, starting at $19.00/hour.
