Job summary

Delta-T Group is seeking a Direct Support Professional (DSP) in Hawthorne, NY. The DSP provides instruction to individuals to promote intellectual, emotional and social growth in a group home setting.

You will work as a Behaviour Health Professional serving the developmentally disabled population. Responsibilities include assisting with medications, nutrition, and transporting clients to appointments with a flexible schedule.

Qualifications

• Minimum of one year experience with persons with intellectual and developmental disabilities
• Strong teaching skills for individuals who are emotionally, behaviorally, physically and/or developmentally challenged
• Experience in the principles and application of Applied Behavior Analysis is a plus
• Current CPR, SCIP and First Aide
• Proof of highest level of education
• Ability to satisfactorily complete given background checks
